Land and building advisory
Buying, developing or holding land in Nigeria means dealing with a lot of rules. We help you stay on the right side of them.
Our land law group makes sure you meet the requirements of the Land Use Act, the Conveyancing Act, the Registration of Titles Law, the Building Code and other related laws in the various states of Nigeria.
We do not stop at knowing the law. We also keep up with the latest policies and guidelines issued by the Land Department and the ministries, so that your interests are protected at all times.
Company secretariat advisory and management
We take your business seriously. Our secretariat group gives first-class service and management support to businesses.
Working with your legal department, we do more than tick compliance boxes. We look for economic and reputational gains for your business, with a twist of social impact.
We know the laws that affect business, including the Companies and Allied Matters Act, the SEC Act and Regulations, banking laws and CBN guidelines. We also have long-standing relationships with the CAC, FIRS and the various state tax offices.
We work alongside your legal advisers so that statutory and regulatory requirements, and your own policies and decisions, are followed. Every legal document you commit to should match both the law and management's strategy, without economic loss.
